B.A. Hons. Music or Bachelor of Arts Honour’s in Music is an undergraduate Music course. Music comprises a combination of vocal music, instrumental music and various dance forms. The degree course involves the study of music theory, music interpretation, history of music, composing, voice instruction, etc. In other words, B.A. (Hons.) (Music) is a degree that builds a strong foundation in music literature and history besides imparting strong musical (vocal & instrumental) skills in a student. The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing B.A. (Hons.) (Music) degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board of the country. Music degree after qualifying through an audition/aptitude test.
